Come and visit Solid Floor to see our range that features over thirty timbers including traditional materials such as oak, walnut, ash and cherry as well as more unusual species including sucupira, lapacho, panga panga, wenge and bamboo. We go to extraordinary lengths to give our timber floors a unique look.

Our timbers are available in a variety of finishes including hand-scraped, brushed, reclaimed-look and smooth. In addition some of our wood comes in several grades, ranging from refined to rustic, allowing you to choose the character and texture of your floor.

Coloured oils can be added to the timber to create a range of effects. We can oil, bake, steam, fume, stain or wax your floor to create an endless array of finishes and colours. We even offer metal finishes that combine the bold industrial tones of metal with the natural pigments of wood.

Floors are low maintenance, well protected because they are properly finished in a choice of oils and lacquers. Our wooden floors can be used in most rooms around the home. You can choose between a matt, semi-shiny or high gloss finish.

All of our wooden flooring is available in solid plank, parquet or a high quality, engineered board. Engineered boards are better suited to certain projects such as where underfloor heating is required. The appearance of our engineered boards and a solid wood floor is exactly the same but the engineered board is a more stable floor making it the best solution where timber cannot be nailed down. We offer timber in a variety of lengths including boards up to 5m long and 50cm wide.
