Panel Parquet Floors

Landmark tatton versailles panel

Parquet panel floors originated in the Palace of Versailles, France, in the 16th century, when the original heavy marble floors were replaced by timber panels in different patterns in a new parquet technique. This fashion soon swept all over France and the rest of Europe.

The small wooden blocks are held together with a tongue and groove system on panels in different intricate designs. Recently we have seen a renewed interest in this classic parquet flooring set in a more modern setting. Our engineered panel floors are available in twelve different designs and various sizes.

There are many colours and textures of panel parquet flooring available - head over to the individual ranges to see them all.
