Oak tate tiree plank with inset floor tiles and a dining table and chairs

Textured oak floor in wide-board and chevron parquet for Notting Hill mansion

Tate Tiree, with its distinctive vibrant texture, is a firm favourite amongst architects and designers. Here the polished stone used in the kitchen area has been continued as random tile inserts within the oak plank floor in the dining area, adding another design element to the lively floor and drawing your eye towards the vast glass windows overlooking the garden.

An oversized chevron pattern was chosen in the same timber for the adjoining living rooms.

Design: Thomas Croft Architects.
