Why seeing timber in real life makes all the difference.
Timber is a natural material. Its grain, texture, tone and knots shift with lighting, room proportions, natural daylight, and the finish applied. Hand samples are useful first steps — many people reach out by email or order samples first — but they offer only a glimpse. To truly appreciate the subtleties of wood, you need to see full-scale panels, wide planks and pattern layouts in a real setting. Walk across them, feel the texture, and observe the colour variations of the wood. That’s the only way to make an informed choice on what is a sizeable investment on an interior surface that should last a lifetime.
Our collection: shades, patterns & species
With over 25 years of experience supplying architects, interior designers, and homeowners in London and beyond, we present a vast collection of oaks in every shade (from pale bleached tones to rich caramel, smoked, and deep browns to blacks), with every texture imaginable (smooth, brushed or aged). You’ll find classic parquet: herringbone, chevron, mansion weave and panel designs, alongside wide-plank flooring - all offered via our custom, made-to-measure system. Besides oak, we carry more unusual species, valued for their distinctive grains and refined contemporary finishes, perfectly suited to the most sophisticated luxury interiors.
Our installation service
We also provide a full installation service: from advising on subfloor preparation and acoustic underlays through to finishing, staircladding, detailing and on-site adjustments. The showroom experience
The East showroom is spacious, atmospheric, and designed to help you understand wood beyond the flat image. There is plenty of room to spread out sample boards, layout designs, compare full-scale panels and pattern options. Large-scale display panels enhance your ability to visualise how a pattern or finish will look across a full floor, in real conditions. Once the choice has been narrowed down, we offer the opportunity to borrow the panels for studio or on-site meetings to help you in the decision process.
Showroom visits
If you're travelling by tube, the nearest stations are Old Street and Bethnal Green. Bus routes 55 and 26 run frequently along Hackney Road, with Queensbridge Road being the closest stop. Hoxton Overground station is also just a short walk away.
Parking is available in the yard for those arriving by car, but please give us a heads up if you want to make use of this.
