Dark oak herringbone flooring in a Trellick Tower apartment

Dark oak herringbone flooring was chosen for the refurbishment of an apartment in the iconic Grade II listed Trellick Tower. The space a completely stripped back to the bones for a complete overhaul. A limited palette of three materials: oak, steel and concrete, were used as the backbone of the scheme. Inspired by Erno Goldfinger’s own house in Hampstead, the rich dark oak ofLandmark Derrymore now runs throughout the apartment. The parquet adds warmth and pattern to the interior and contrasts beautifully with the cool concrete and steel of the brutalist setting.
