The owners of a converted North London pub wanted a floor with character for their eclectic interior and chose our Tate Citadel oak, with its horizontal bandsaw marks and mixed-width planks.

For 2023, we’re expanding our oak collection with Landmark Stoneacre in rustic grade, featured as our sale special—a perfect lived-in look with all the benefits of modern engineered boards, also available in four other Landmark colours.

Celebrating 25 years, Solid Floor has grown from a small Amsterdam shop to UK showrooms in Marylebone and Shoreditch, creating tailored hardwood floors guided by a commitment to design, craftsmanship, and attention to detail.

Over the decades, underfloor heating has transformed homes, and Solid Floor has adapted, creating timber floors designed to work beautifully with it while keeping the luxury and warmth underfoot.

A central London high-rise was transformed with our oak Landmark Saltram, chosen for its light, warm, restrained mid-century modernist look, engineered stability, and its compatibility with acoustic underlay and underfloor heating.

This is the fourth year we take part in the Shoreditch Design Triangle during the London Design Festival, from 17th till 25th of September. To celebrate LDF 2022, we have invited Rupert Bevan to demonstrate the colourful art of marbling.

In this East London Victorian lower ground, our pale oak Landmark Ascott creates a light, airy Scandi feel, perfectly complementing the monochrome scheme and elegant, practical design of the kitchen and living spaces.
